Just a word about some of the stuff we should try to carry for some of the harder group stuff we do.

Hope Tokens.
Hope tokens are available to lift the spirits of our adventurers.
Depending in the amount of hope you have, your morale will be increased, damage dealt higher, damage recieved lower.... you can check it out here.
https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Hope
The opposite effect of Hope is Dread. This has a negative effect on our characters, with one effect cancelling out the other of a same value.
In Fornost last night, the end boss gives us +4 dread, we can counter these effects with using a +4 hope token. We also recieve a +2 Hope if close to the lit braziers.
Jewellers make these.

Before a fight I will shout, "Gather for Hope" or something.
We all need to be in close proximity when I 'pop' the Hope Token. Those out of range wont get the benefit.

Food
I have supplied people with the latest level 40 food available for us.
'Lembas'. These provide us with decent buffs to our regen rates when in combat.

Other food is available to boost individual stats. Might, Agility, Vitality, Will and Fate. Only one of these types may be used.

Cooks make these.

Battle Scrolls
Scholars make these scrolls which help us in attack and defence.
Like the Hope Tokens, we all need to be huddled up to benefit when it is used.

Fire Oils
Hunters and Wardens can apply Fire or Light Oil to their arrows/javelins.
These apply a dot to the target.
Care must be given with DoTs on bosses sometimes. They can end up healing some mobs if they are absorbing damage.
Scholars make these too.

Awesome. I like the idea that we really have to "step up" to meet this challenge.

I have been saying we need to step up our game for ages against bosses.
DPSing the crap out of stuff only works sometimes.

this may be a useful guide to fellowships? Follow Me... any other guides we could share usefully?

for example we've been having Bera identify target's through raid assist perhaps it'd make more sense for it to be a dps class (me or gwen?) - explanation in link. we could prob improve cc and conjunctions a bit too?

That's seems like a really good guide, thanks!

Aggro management is an issue for me - or for us.

Just gonna bump this...

In light of the recent events :)

Healing potions from the Healer NPC
https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/NPC_Healer

Draughts for self-only salves for the targeted fellowship member (including self) however ALL 8 types of potions share the same 30 sec cooldown - hence the reason stacking up on salves only is sufficient especially if inventory space is limited (just have to make sure you have the right target, if no target is selected it defaults to apply to self).

Also Virtues to aim for to maximaze mitigations, tactical being the priority (theoratically you could have Tier 8-9 of these by now):
Innocence
Compassion
Tolerance
Fidelity
Honour

Happy Farming!
Sig ;)
