The shores of Great River, known as the mighty Anduin in Sindarin, touch many different lands. It flows from the Grey and Misty Mountains in far north, between Lothlórien and Mirkwood, through the Argonath into West Rohan and onto Gondor, before emptying into Belegaer, the Great Sea to the South.

The river was known as the Langflood to the ancestors of the Rohirrim, and was the longest in Middle-Earth during the Third Age with an estimates total length of 1,388 miles (approximately 2,234 kilometres).

During the First Age, a stretch of land along the Great River was home to Entwives and their beautiful gardens. But this place of beauty was blasted by Sauron in the Second Age, and is now called the Brown Lands. The Great River is a divider; on the western bank is life, forests, tributaries and the like, while the east is wasteland, destroyed, rocky.

The signs of war lie along the shores of the Great River as Isengard and Barad-dûr put their dark plans into motion. Assist the Sentinels of Lothlórien in patrolling their southern boarders, seek out Galadriel’s wisdom and confront ancient enemies of Rohan, the Easterlings, as they gather for an attack on Rohan and Lórien.

I am hoping to move the story forward to the Great River, Vol. III. Book 6 Ch. 6: Downriver Dangers. The company will still be present in Nan Curunír (and Galtrev), of course. If people aren't that far in the Epic I think a Deed night might be good, thinking of the Exploration Deeds (and maybe some Slayers on the way) for the desired Virtues in the GR (lvl 70) / East Rohan (lvl 75) areas with optional Stable-master unlocks.

I won't really bother scheduling instances/raids until the core group is at least level 73 (harder bosses are 78). We'll do them ad-hoc, though, if the attendees desire.

Happy Gaming ;)
have been on book 6 ch 6 for a while - am happy to wait for others to catch up before progressing, be useful to get some indication and explore opportunities in the meantime - anyone else begun limlight rep, please shout out if want company.....I have done many of the quests and moving on to the instance and repeatables....
Been busy most of this week with kids staying. Hope to get some gaming next week.
Limlight Rep done but happy to help with other chars. Im just mopping up some virtues.
GF coming over this eve - no other chance to see each other this week and as such have had to bail on tonight :(

Will be on later in the week (and hopefully next Tues). Have started Limlight rep but the 200k morale mobs are proving a little too tricky. Have just picked up a full Draigoch armour set so that may help things along!
How did the evening go? Any successes?
Dura was present so we decided to jump into one of the newly available scaling instances from the Pelennor Fields Cluster (originally for level 105, scales from level 75), the 6-man Silent Street on T1. 'Twas the first look for Lir and we found that it was more challenging compared to the T1 versions of classic instances, likely due to being originally developed for higher level characters with essence gear and more Trait Points (like the Osgiliath Cluster that opened up from level 50 but originally made for level 100s).
The first boss went down withoug a wipe (although we had a reset due to me being kicked back to the entrance gate of the area the fight takes place in, thanks to my noob positioning :S).
Unfortunately we have experienced some odd things while in the encounter, namingly the aggro range (and status) of most mobs were much larger than I originally remembered and a lot of mobs run in from the distance and fought us even though we didn't pull them. This resulted in us being in combat most of the time, not being able to recover after pulls or use OOC consumables so I ticketed it and we called it off. I will further investigate to see whether it's an intended change they made (doubt it, but...) or a bug that came with one of the latest updates.
After that both Lir and myself jumped on a level 32 toon to join Edenmegil in the Barrows of Garth Agarwen (3-man) and succesfully completed the Challenge (Guard, Champ, Rk).

Hope to see you guys soon ;)
