Company of the Tortoise

Use this thread for telling the other turtles if you're going to be away for a longer period of time. So they won't stand there in Combe waiting, *sighing* for you to turn up in the slowtro channel.

I'll start by saying that I'll be only sporadically in game during the summer.

Weekends I'll be away and I probably won't be there at all between July 21st and August 17th. (Except if the weather is really bad and we go back to the city).

I will, however, have internet access and will visit the forums, probably on a regular basis to get my LOTRO fix. So I'll make sure to raise level caps and so on, even if I don't play myself. I'll catch up to all of you in late August - yet another good thing about slowtro is that nobody is left behind while the others rush off to Moria.

Update: I've been swallowed by the summer a week earlier than planned. Won't be back in game before about Aug 15. But I'll check site and forums regularly :)

I think the weather is going to be good this summer :D

Thanks. Running Chromebook tethered to phone in hospital - little lag but playable for crafting and light questing. Mother-in-law aged 89 gets surgery tomorrow for broken hip. Fingers crossed.

Back again. She passed away from complications after the surgery. Life is fragile - let's enjoy the time given to us!

Hello everyone. My wife has been sick for the last ten days and in hospital since Friday. It's nothing serious, but it may take a while and creates a lot of logistical problems since we have two small kids.

I may not be able to go online much in the coming days - and won't get time to update the site or the forums. That's also why I haven't updated anything for a while.

Even if I'm not that active, please do carry on the slowtro way - like true turtles. I'll be back, as the Terminator said.

Hope the missus gets better soon.
